Licensed Psychologist In Newton, MA

I am a licensed psychologist with over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. I currently work as a psychologist for the Newton Public Schools as well so I am familiar with the impact of how certain learning or emotional difficulties affect a child's performance in school. I am also able to provide guidance around the special education process. My areas of specialty include working with individuals with high functioning autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities including deficits in executive functioning, mood disorders and anxiety. I also provide parent training, support and guidance around home issues or behavioral challenges. My primary treatment method is cognitive behavioral. I provide support around social pragmatics when needed. There has also been an increased need to support h individuals who need some assistance transitioning from adolescence into adulthood. This has become a very important component of my practice as well.
