Children and adolescents may feel stressed or anxious because of issues they experience in there daily lives. These stressors may be related to academics, peer relationships or family dynamics. Children and adolescents may also have a more generalized feeling of anxiety without necessarily being able to identify the source of the stressor. I will work with them to help them identify the source of their stress and the thoughts and feelings behind it. We will work together to challenge these thoughts and improve their ability to manage these feelings effectively.
